Stress Management

You can learn to take control of your stress and to relax, yet retain your alertness and energy! Look at what factors are contributing to your stress. Can they be avoided? Do not waste energy on being stressed over those things that are not in your control.

  • Get a massage and see how it feels like to be truly relaxed.
  • Get some regular exercise, even a brisk walk will do you good.
  • Stretch often, shoulders, neck, arms and legs.
  • Take a few deep breaths. Keep breathing in down to your belly and out slowly.
  • Practice good posture.
  • Drink plenty of water, get enough sleep and nurture your body with good food.
  • Take time to have fun and slow down not just on days off.
  • Laugh a lot!
  • Organize your time well and set goals that are achievable.
  • Try a Reflexology or Shiatsu treatment.
